When you select this feat, you choose to forego damaging your enemies, preferring to study them instead. When selected, and again at each level afterwards, you gain a permanent +2 proficiency in one choice of Arcana, Religion, History, Nature, Medicine, or Perception rolls. You also gain a permanent -1 to all attack rolls, spell or weapon.
