Whip Mastery You have mastered the strange and difficult art of using a whip in combat. You gain the following benefits:

When you use a whip, its damage die increases from a d4 to a d6. (This benefit has no effect if another feature has already improved the weapon’s die.)

In addition, you can forgo doing any damage and instead choose to do one of three things:
1: Roll 1d20 + Proficiency + STR/DEX Modifier (User's choice) against a target no more than 1 size larger than the user, the target must beat the user's roll with an DEX saving throw. A failed save means the target is knocked prone.
2: Roll 1d20 + Proficiency + STR/DEX Modifier (User's choice) against a target no more than 1 size larger than the user, the target must beat the user's roll with a STR saving throw. A failed save means the target is now being grappled, and you can no longer use your whip for attacks.
3: Roll 1d20 + Proficiency + STR/DEX Modifier (User's choice) against a target or weapon/item that a target is in possession of. The target must beat the user's roll with a STR saving throw. A failed save means the weapon/item the target was holding is knocked out of their hands (in the direction of the user's choosing)

If you grapple a target with the whip, you can spend an action to either pull the target closer to you (which will knock them prone and end the grapple) or end the grapple (allowing you to use the whip again).
