Prerequisite: Can speak at least one language
Your knowledge of urban navigation is unparalleled and you gain the following benefits:
- Any time you are in a city you gain the benefits of the Ranger's Natural Explorer ability except your favored terrain is "urban".
- If you spend more than a day in a specific city you quickly pick up on information that would take others much longer to learn such as local customs and manners, notable heads of organizations, and you become very familiar with the city's layout. This happens passively, without any extra effort on the player's part. Ultimately, the level of detail and the subject(s) of the information gained are up to the DM, though you may be able to influence the outcome by saying something like, "Throughout the day I focus on learning guard patrol patterns."
- Additionally, once you have spent more than a day in a city you have advantage on any ability check used to evade enemies that do not have a direct line of sight to you. This includes any ability check such as a simple stealth check to hide, an attempt to persuade a citizen to hide you in their cellar, or an Intelligence check used to map out an escape route through the city alleyways.
