Your voice carries the weight of law, and your presence demands obedience. Whether through force of personality, years of commanding leadership, or the sheer power of your will, those who hear your command hesitate before defying you.

Prerequisite

Charisma 13 or higher

Benefits

You gain the following benefits:

  • Authoritative Command. As an action, you can issue an authoritative decree to a creature within 30 feet that can hear and understand you. The target must make a Wisdom saving throw (DC 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Charisma modifier). On a failed save, the creature is either frightened or charmed (your choice) until the end of your next turn. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Charisma modifier (minimum of once) per long rest.
  • Voice of Power. When making a Charisma (Intimidation) or Charisma (Persuasion) check against a creature who recognizes your authority, you can add double your proficiency bonus instead of your normal proficiency bonus.
  • Unshakable Will. If you fail a saving throw against being charmed or frightened, you can choose to reroll the saving throw and must use the new result. You can use this feature once per long rest.

Special

If you have the Enforcer of the Law feature, when you successfully use Authoritative Command, the duration of the effect increases to 1 minute, and the target can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on a success.
