You are no longer merely a servant; you are a living embodiment of your patron’s will, forever marked by their dark influence. Your body is forever altered, gaining infernal strength and resilience. Your horns grow longer and more twisted, strengthening as if forged in the fires of the infernal realms. Your canines sharpen into menacing fangs, and your eyes shift into the eerie, vertical slits of a goat’s, glowing with a deep, otherworldly light that unnerves all who meet your gaze. These eyes now allow you to peer into the hearts of others, revealing their deepest fears and leaving them unsettled by your fiendish presence.

Your body becomes more resilient and physically tough, reinforced by the infernal power now coursing through you. Your skin takes on a tougher, leathery texture, and your overall form becomes more durable, making you harder to harm by mortal means. The runes inscribed on your flesh, once faint, now glow with an eerie light, writhing and shifting like a living thing, marking your transformation. These runes reflect your connection to your Fiend patron, their ceaseless movement a constant reminder of your bond.

As you embrace this transformation, the air around you seems to change. A faint scent of smoldering campfire lingers in your wake, carrying the warmth of embers and the ghost of burning wood. This ever-present aroma is an outward manifestation of your connection to the Fiendish realms, a reminder to all nearby of the smoldering power that fuels your existence.

In addition to your physical transformation, your mind becomes shielded by the essence of your patron. You are no longer as easily affected by mental manipulation or outside influence. Your connection to your Fiend patron fortifies your mind, making you resilient against attempts to charm or control you.

Alongside these changes, your very essence has been reshaped by your Fiend patron’s power. Your shadow flickers unnaturally, shifting and writhing like a flame caught in the wind, often casting strange shapes on its own. This unnatural movement is a reflection of your deeper bond with your patron.

You have also gained a limited ability to alter your form. Once per short rest, you can use Disguise Self to alter your appearance and voice. However, the taint of your Fiendish patron cannot be fully concealed—your scent still carries a faint trace of smoldering embers, and your shadow continues to flicker unnaturally, betraying your true nature.

Finally, your voice changes, splitting into two tones—one deep and resonant, the other echoing faintly behind it—making each word you speak sound as though it carries the weight of your patron’s infernal authority. This eerie voice makes others tremble in fear, as though the very presence of your patron is speaking through you.

However, this dark blessing comes at a cost. Your body is no longer sustained by mortal means. You reject the touch of divine and arcane healing, unable to regain hit points from magical sources. Instead, the essence of your patron mends your wounds in its own way. Your infernal resilience allows you to gradually recover, your flesh knitting itself back together at the start of your turn. But should you be burned by holy light, this unholy regeneration falters, leaving you vulnerable to the forces that seek to unmake you.

Dreadful Aura: While you are skilled at bending others to your will through fear, your fiendish nature makes more peaceful forms of influence difficult. Your attempts at persuasion may come off as manipulative or unsettling.

Fiendish Affinity: Your connection to fiends grows deeper. You have an instinctive understanding of their dark ways and agendas, which grants you an edge when interacting with them or recalling their powers.

Celestial Repulsion: The purity of Celestial beings now feels foreign and hostile to you. Their divine light is anathema to your very being, and your presence causes those of Celestial nature to see you as a threat.

Necrotic Resilience: The bond with your patron has made you resilient to the forces of death. Necrotic energy flows through you, making you more resistant to such power.

Radiant Vulnerability: In contrast, the very light of the heavens burns you. The radiant energy that would harm those of lesser will can overwhelm you, leaving you vulnerable to divine forces.

Devilish Restoration: Your body pulses with infernal vitality, a gift from your patron’s dark essence. Wounds knit themselves together, flesh mending as hellish power courses through your veins. However, this dark blessing comes at a cost. Your body has become resistant to external aid, rejecting divine and arcane healing alike. You can no longer regain hit points from magical healing, as your patron’s influence has severed your connection to life-giving magic. Only time, rest, or your own infernal regeneration can mend your wounds.

Physical Resilience: Your body grows stronger, and you gain a new toughness that helps you endure the trials of the infernal realms. Your endurance increases, and you find yourself with a greater capacity to resist physical hardships.

Constitutional Fortitude: The infernal power running through your veins enhances your physical fortitude. You gain an innate toughness, making you more resistant to exhaustion and physical strain.

Mind Shielding: The infernal power also fortifies your mind against outside influence. You have developed an unshakable will, granting you resistance to effects that attempt to manipulate or control your thoughts, making you harder to sway with mental or emotional manipulation.

Your patron can now take possession of your body at will, allowing them to use you as a vessel to carry out their will. The nature of your bond shapes how others perceive you and influences the choices you make.
