Draconic Runebearer Image
Prerequisite: Dragonborn Prerequisite
 

Knowledge of a draconic rune has been passed down from generation-to-generation, and now you too possess this knowledge. After carving this rune into your scales, you’ve gained the following benefits:

+1 Intelligence, to a maximum of 20.

 

You gain knowledge of the rune that respectfully applies to your race:

 

  • Red Dragon: After carving the rune into your scales, you are able to double the damage and range of your breath attack. After using the rune, you may not use it again until after one long rest. If you do not use the rune after two long rests, you will take 1d6 fire damage. If you have abilities or spells that possess a similar effect, round the damage up to a d8 hit dice, and nullify the spell/ability’s effect. 

 

  • Blue Dragon: After carving the rune into your scales, you are able to double the damage and range of your breath attack. After using the rune, you may not use it again until after one long rest. If you do not use the rune after two long rests, you will take 1d6 lighting damage.  If you have abilities or spells that possess a similar effect, round the damage up to a d8 hit dice, and nullify the spell/ability’s effect. 

 

  • Black Dragon: After carving the rune into your scales, you are able to double the damage and range of your breath attack. After using the rune, you may not use it again until after one long rest. If you do not use the rune after two long rests, you will take 1d6 Acid damage. If you have abilities or spells that possess a similar effect, round the damage up to a d8 hit dice, and nullify the spell/ability’s effect. 

 

  • Green Dragon: After carving the rune into your scales, you are able to double the damage and range of your breath attack. After using the rune, you may not use it again until after one long rest. If you do not use the rune after two long rests, you will take 1d6 Poison damage. If you have abilities or spells that possess a similar effect, round the damage up to a d8 hit dice, and nullify the spell/ability’s effect. 

 

  • White Dragon: After carving the rune into your scales, you are able to double the damage and range of your breath attack. After using the rune, you may not use it again until after one long rest. If you do not use the rune after two long rests, you will take 1d6 Ice damage. If you have abilities or spells that possess a similar effect, round the damage up to a d8 hit dice, and nullify the spell/ability’s effect. if you’re in a cold habitat, damage is doubled.



  • Red Dragon: After carving the rune into your scales, you are able to double the damage and range of your breath attack. After using the rune, you may not use it again until after one long rest. If you do not use the rune after two long rests, you will take 1d6 fire damage. If you have abilities or spells that possess a similar effect, round the damage up to a d8 hit dice, and nullify the spell/ability’s effect. 

 

  • Silver Dragon: When attacked, you expel ice in a burst with a radius of five feet. Everyone in range (besides yourself) will take 1d4 Ice damage. After this occurs, you may not use it again until after a long rest. In addition, if you’re in an arctic habitat, the damage for this specific attack is doubled.
  • Bronze Dragon: When attacked, you expel Lightning in a burst with a radius of five feet. Everyone in range (besides yourself) will take 1d4 Electric damage. After this occurs, you may not use it again until after a long rest. In addition, if you’re in a coastal habitat, damage is doubled.
  • Gold Dragon: When attacked, you expel fire in a burst with a radius of five feet. Everyone in range (besides yourself) will take 1d4 Fire damage. After this occurs, you may not use it again until after a long rest. In addition, if you’re in an Cavern/cave area, the damage for this specific attack is doubled.
  • Copper Dragon: When attacked, you expel Acid in a burst with a radius of five feet. Everyone in range (besides yourself) will take 1d4 Acid damage. After this occurs, you may not use it again until after a long rest. In addition, if you’re in a Mountainous habitat, the damage for this specific attack is doubled.
  • Brass Dragon: When attacked, you expel Fire in a burst of Fire with a radius of five feet. Everyone in range (besides yourself) will take 1d4 Fire damage. After this occurs, you may not use it again until after a long rest. In addition, if you’re in a Desert habitat, the damage for this specific attack is doubled.
