Choose Poison or Acid when taking this feat, if you would deal damage of the chosen element and that damage would be nullified by an inherent immunity, instead your target is considered resistant, taking half damage and having advantage against any saving throws related to the damage source.

(granted immunity such as from a magic item or temporary spell are not effected by this trait)
