Your connection to nature has grown so strong that you can manifest defensive spikes while in Wild Shape once per long rest, turning your beast forms into dangerous, thorny predators. You gain the following benefits:

Spiked Hide: While in Wild Shape, your beast form grows natural spikes or thorns. When a creature within 5 feet of you hits you with a melee attack, it takes piercing damage equal to your proficiency bonus. This damage increases to twice your proficiency bonus if the creature is grappling you.

Brambleshape: Once per turn, when you hit a creature with a melee attack while in Wild Shape, you can choose to deal an additional 1d6 piercing damage as your spikes dig into your target. This damage increases to 2d6 at 11th level.

Natural Defense: While in Wild Shape, your AC increases by 1 as your spiked hide provides additional protection.
