You have spent most of your free time inside workshops and laboratories, curiously tinkering with every gear and machine you could put your hands on. You gain the following benefits:

• Increase your Intelligence ability score by 1, to a maximum of 20.
• You gain proficiency with 2 tools of your choice.
• When using a tool you can treat a roll of 9 or lower as a 10.
