upon activating this feat you can yell a single or multi-word command at one or more targets. Once the words leave your mouth the target(s) will have that effect forced upon them, no saving throws or checks required.
However, this feat can also damage the user depending on the strength of the command, the amount of targets, and the target(s) size. It is up to the DM to determine where the command lies on the strength scale.
Commands have 4 ranks that deal different amounts of damage to the user depending on how strong it is. For example: A command such as "Explode" would be considered strong while one such as "jump" would be simple:
- Simple (no damage)
- Moderate (2d6)
- Strong (3d8)
- Deadly (4d10)
Cursed Speech can be used on 5 different size groups of targets, damage will also vary depending on the size of the group:
- 1 target (no damage)
- Small group(2-4 creatures, 1d4)
- Moderate group(5-9 creatures, 2d6)
- Big(10-19 creatures, 3d8)
- Huge(20+ creatures, 4d10)
Finally, the size of the target(s) will also play a factor in the amount of damage taken:
- Tiny (no damage)
- Small (1d4)
- Medium (2d6)
- Large (3d8)
- Huge (4d10)
- Gargantuan (5d12)
When calculating the damage that the user will take, consider all of these factors and add the results of all of the dice rolls together. For example:
A Simple Command on a Moderate Size Group of 5 Gargantuan creatures; 0 + 2d6 + 25d12 = Damage to user
A Deadly Command on a Small group of creatures consisting of 2 Small Creatures and 2 Medium Creatures; 4d10 + 1d4 + 2d4 + 4d6 = Damage to user
A Simple Command on a Single Tiny Target; 0 + 0 + 0 = Damage to user
