The character can cast at least one spell and has trained extensively to maintain focus on multiple incantations at once.
If the character is already concentrating on one spell and attempts to cast another spell that also requires concentration, they can concentrate on both spells at the same time. However, they must spend a standard action each subsequent round to maintain this dual concentration. If they fail to do so, they lose concentration on both spells.
At the end of each turn where the character is concentrating on two spells, they must make a Constitution saving throw. The difficulty class (DC) for this saving throw is 10 plus the number of complete rounds they've been concentrating on two spells. If they fail, they lose concentration on both spells. They can choose to drop concentration on one spell during their turn as a free action to avoid this saving throw.
If the character takes damage and is forced to make a Constitution saving throw to maintain concentration, the DC is calculated as 10 plus the combined levels of both spells or half the damage taken, whichever is higher. If they fail this saving throw, they lose concentration on both spells.
