Burnt Mark of the Sun-Tree
Branded onto your body by the ancient Sun-Tree deep within the Feywild, this glowing sigil serves as a counterbalance to the infernal mark of Vassago. Though you are not of the Fey, the Sun-Tree has anchored part of its power within you—not to overwrite the darkness, but to oppose it. The mark burns with warm, steady light when the demon’s influence stirs.
“Your blood comes from the dark. Your mark comes from the abyss.
But within you now, there will be another voice. Another will.
And when the Shadow calls… my mark will help you keep your balance.”
Effects of the Mark

While you are conscious, Vassago cannot take control of your body or force actions through magical possession or pact-based influence unless you willingly allow it, or unless he succeeds on a DC 15 Wisdom saving throw (once per day).
