Prerequisite: Exclusive to Those Who Have Stolen a Divine Relic In Cornsylvania
Through an act of daring theft, you have amused an ancient deity, who has bestowed upon you a sliver of his serpentine cunning. You gain the following benefits:
- Serpent’s Reflexes.
You gain proficiency in Sleight of Hand and Deception, or expertise if you are already proficient in either. - Forked Fate.
Once per long rest, when you make an attack roll, ability check, or saving throw, you may roll twice and choose which result to use. However, the deity’s favor is fickle—after using this feature, roll 1d6. On a 1, something strangely inconvenient happens within the next hour (DM’s discretion). - Venomous Words.
When you cast a spell that requires verbal components, you can lace your words with trickster magic. Choose one creature that can hear you within 30 feet—they must make a Wisdom saving throw against your spell save DC. On a failure, they become charmed or frightened (your choice) until the start of your next turn. Once you use this feature, you cannot do so again until you complete a short or long rest. - Slippery Escape.
When you take damage, you can use your reaction to momentarily vanish. You become invisible until the start of your next turn or until you attack or cast a spell. Once you use this feature, you cannot do so again until you finish a long rest.
