
Prerequisite: Requires Level 10 or higher.
Dare to take a gamble in your lair?
- If you sleep within your lair you may roll a D20. Anything between 2-19 you get a buff and the rolling ends.
- You cannot use this feat if you are suffering from any points of exhaustion.
- Roll a Nat 1 and you get a point of exhaustion and the rolling ends.
- If you roll a Nat 20 you may choose to only take the one buff or do a gamble roll 2d20’s anything between 2-19 you get two buffs and the rolling ends.
- If you roll another Nat 20 you can continue to gamble or stick with what you got.
- If you choose to roll 2d20’s and roll a Nat 1 you get two levels of exhaustion due to your bad gamble and cannot roll anymore.
- Double Nat 1’s and you automatically gain level 6 exhaustion.
- Double Nat 20’s at any time in your gamble you get all 6 buffs automatically.
- You can only have up to a maximum of 6 buffs or 6 levels of exhaustion in this way.
- Should you get to 6 levels of exhaustion this way instead of death you go down to 1 hit point and your maximum hit points are reduced to a quarter of what it was until after a long rest.
- Should you choose not to use this feat or can't. If you sleep within your lair you recover 2 points of exhaustion instead of one.
- Can only use this ability once per week.
- If you gain a 6th level of exhaustion outside of this you will die as normal. So if you gain 5 levels of exhaustion in the lair go out and gain a 6th you will die.
