Blind

Buffs:

• You gain proficiency with the Perception skill and advantage on Wisdom(Perception) checks relying on hearing and scent.
• You gain blindsight up to a range of 20 feet.
  • Your blindsight only functions when you can use your other senses (hearing and scent).
  • (ex: blindsight may not work inside the area of effect of a silence spell, if the character is under the deafened, or unconscious, or other factors specified by your DM).
• You are immune to the blind condition, as you are already blind and used to it. (This only applies if you have been blind for more than 3 weeks)
• You can attempt to “see” outside your blindsight radius by making a Wisdom(Perception) check with a DC of 10 + however many feet they are outside your blindsight radius.
• You can “see” through visual illusions and invisibility is useless against you.
• You are immune to being blinded by bright lights or darkness. (ex: the spell Darkness).

Debuffs:

• You cannot see (duh).
• You automatically fail Wisdom(Perception) checks based on sight.
• You cannot read anything unless it has some sort of texture(ex: brail, embossed, carved).
