Prerequisite: Strength 13 or higher.
You’ve developed the skills necessary to hold your own in close-quarters grappling. You gain the following benefits:
- You have advantage on attack rolls against a creature you are grappling.
- Pin: You can use one of the attacks granted by your Attack action to attempt to pin a creature already grappled by you. Make another grapple check. If you succeed, the creature is prone and restrained. As with grappled, a pinned creature can use their action to attempt to escape in a grapple contest.
- Submit: You can attempt to submit a creature pinned by you. As a part of the Attack action on your turn, you can use a special unarmed strike against the target's Athletics or Acrobatics check. If you succeed, you deal bludgeoning damage equal to 3d8 + your Strength modifier. Critical hits result in reduction in function of the afflicted appendage.
