Prerequisite: Bard Level 4+, Orc or Half-Orc, must have communed with the Scroll of Ancestry
You are the last ember of a nearly forgotten tradition—an orcish art of battle-dance and rhythm-rebellion passed through blood and soul. The fire within you burns bright, and now, it begins to blaze outward.
Benefits:
-
Ancestral Rhythm. You gain proficiency in Acrobatics or Performance (your choice). If you already have both, you gain expertise in one.
-
Dance of the Flameblood (1/long rest). As a bonus action, you ignite the spark of your ancestors within you. For 1 minute:
-
Your movement speed increases by 10 feet.
-
When you cast a Bard spell or use Bardic Inspiration, you or the target gains 1d4 temporary hit points.
-
If you move at least 10 feet before making a melee weapon attack, you deal additional fire damage equal to your Charisma modifier (once per turn).
-
-
Living Memory. You can meditate for 10 minutes during a long rest to receive guidance from your ancestors. The DM may grant a cryptic vision or advantage on your next Insight, Performance, or History check related to rebellion, the arts, or ancient magic.
-
Optional Rule: If you use musical instruments while performing with this feat’s magic, they glow with ember-like flame or echo with phantom drums only visible to those attuned to magic or ancestry.
