General Feat
You gain the following benefits.
At any point, you can say “I know a guy...” and describe a character that your character knows that may prove useful to the adventure.
You control the details of the character, but once it’s a real part of the world, the DM role-plays as that character, just like any other NPC.
This Feat allows you to:
- Create an NPC upon character creation.
- How is this NPC woven into your background? Is it a co-worker? Friend? Or something else entirely.
- Spend 3 charges of "know a guy". You can spend 1 charge to describe a NPC that your character knows that may prove useful to the adventure. You can spend this at any time, but only thrice in a campaign.
- Looking for information? Maybe a rumor here and there? Maybe you just know the right Bard to get this information.
