Wizard Ascension – Step One: The Arcane Singularity Image

An Epic Boon Granted to the Wizards of the Second Raid on the Tower of Perdition.

At 20th level, your mastery over the Weave reaches a level no mortal has ever achieved. Your mind now operates on a higher arcane frequency, bending reality with thought alone.

You are no longer just a wizard—you are the eye of the arcane storm. This transformation grants you the following singular, powerful feature:

Arcane Singularity:

Once per long rest, as an action, you collapse the boundary between knowledge and power, entering the state of Arcane Singularity for 1 minute.

While in this state, you gain the following benefits:

  • Spellweaver’s Surge:
You may cast two spells of 5th level or lower on each of your turns instead of one, provided they each have a casting time of 1 action.

  • Reality Refraction:
Whenever you cast a spell of 1st level or higher, you can choose to bend reality slightly.

Choose one of the following effects each time:

    • The spell requires no verbal, somatic, or material components.

    • You may change the damage type of the spell to another type of your choosing.

    • The spell ignores resistance and treats immunity as resistance for the duration.

  • Arcane Paradox:
Once per round, when you cast a spell, you may roll a d6. On a 6, the spell does not consume a spell slot and cannot be counterspelled.
  • Mystic Shielding:
While this feature is active, you have resistance to all damage from spells, and you automatically succeed on concentration checks to maintain spells.
