There are three ways you can become a WerePanther:

1) Ancestral Lineage - Parent, or someone in your family history, is/was a lycanthrope and thus the condition (curse or blessing depending how you view it) was transferred onto you. Your family has taught you to resist your curse during the Full Moon. However, their teachings are not quite as vigorous as those who are cursed by the cults of the Met'Uruge. You must make a DC15 Wisdom Saving Throw every Full Moon in order to prevent succumbing to your raging bloodlust. If you succeed three consecutive Wisdom Saving Throws, you are no longer required to make a saving throw during the Full Moon, and are thus in complete control of your curse.

2) Surviving a Lycanthrope Attack - Unlikely but rare, often leads to what are dubbed "Kěkāros" {(Keh-car-os) - (lit.) “Lovers of Wild Will” (fig.) Untamed Lycanthrope}. Have little to no control over their transformed state, highly aggressive. You are self-taught to resist your curse during the Full Moon. However, because of this, you must make a DC17 Wisdom Saving Throw every Full moon in order to prevent succumbing to your raging bloodlust.

3) Cursed - In the dark corners of the world there are cults to the Met'Urugeš, those who seek to bring about strife just as their dark masters do. They will sometimes kidnap innocents, or those innocents were offered up, and use them to create weapons for Urûm (Conflict/War). If you are cursed by a cult of the Met-Urugeš, you are vigorously taught how to resist your curse during the Full Moon. However, it never becomes automatic, and you must make a DC13 Wisdom Saving Throw every Full Moon in order to prevent succumbing to your raging bloodlust. If you fail three consecutive Wisdom Saving Throws, you become a Kěkāros and must then make a DC17 Wisdom Saving Throw every Full Moon for the remainder of the campaign.

Your senses are heightened, and you are able to sneak into places that are deemed "nigh impenetrable". Because of this, you are commonly a thief or assassin.

You have advantage with any Stealth checks.

If you don't have sharp teeth yet, you develop them when you are cursed.

However, you develop a vulnerability to any weapons made of Silver, even in your humanoid form.

When in Panther Form, if you succeed in a melee attack, you may make one bonus attack with the Bite (2d4 of piercing damage) or Claw (1d6 of slashing damage).
