Moonlight Greatsword
When unattuned this weapon looks like a claymore with chips and notches in it, once attuned you may use a bonus action to transform the blade into its secondary form. In it's secondary form this blade transforms from its broken shape into a beautiful great-sword that glows a soft green, the blade is almost translucent and is covered in lovely carvings.
In its secondary form you may swing, slash, stab, or slam this blade to cause different effects.
Swinging the blade horizontally causes a quick moving slice of radiance to travel in the direction you swung.
Slashing the blade vertical from the ground up will cause a fast traveling pillar of radiant energy to fly in the direction you slashed
Stabbing the blade will send a quick moving arrow of radiance in the direction you attacked and pierce through anything
Slamming the blade into the ground will cause a wave of radiance to splash in all directions
All attacks done in this way do 3d8 radiant damage along with 2d6 of slashing, bludgeoning, or piercing damage depending on the strike. You may increase the blades damage by 2d8 when using the strikes by expending a 1st level spell slot any spell slot above 1st level increases another 2d8.
The blade naturally is a +3 great sword in it's altered form or not and does 1d8 radiant, 2d6 slashing damage in its original form and 3d8 radiant, 2d6 slashing damage in its secondary form
