In search of tranquility.
More than silence.
More than peace.Soul and senses.
Be still and calm.
Your journey throughout the Twilight has been one of duality, a mix of conflict, and agitation between yourself, and that Quori spirit which resides within you; through all of that time, however, an understanding had been reached, a bond, between the both of you, of perhaps not co-existence, but cooperation, able to call upon eachother's will, to aid, in the journey ahead.
At the start of each day, you may choose between embodying the Aspect of the Dreamer (Myra) or the Aspect of the Nightmare (Mary), granting the corresponding spirit control over your body. As an action, you may expend four of your Psionic Energy dice to shift to the opposite Aspect.
☀️ Aspect of the Dreamer
You see the world for what it could be. Possibility and potential are as real to you as all else, your thoughts made manifest. While embodying this Aspect, your psionics call upon the Realm of Dreams, allowing you to reshape reality. You gain access to the following abilities, which you may expend your Psionic Die on:
Shaper of Dreams (Cost Dependent):
You may cast Dream, Hallucinatory Terrain, Modify Memory, Mirage Arcane or Divination, expending an amount of Psionic Energy die equal to the spell's level.
Dreambound Link (Cost Dependent):
As a bonus action, you can anchor an amount of creatures or objects equal to your Proficiency Bonus within sixty feet of you to your dream-like consciousness for an amount of hours equal to your Proficiency Bonus. A Psionic Energy die is spent per creature affected by this ability.
While Dreambound, each creature affected by the link may perceive eachother regardless of distance or obstacles through a psychic, shimmering outline, and always knows the direct distance and direction towards them. They may all communicate psychically with eachother for as long as this Link is maintained. As a bonus action, each creature affected by the Dreambound Link may teleport to another creature under its effects, appearing within 5 feet.
Psionic Tether (6 Dice):
As an action over the course of ten minutes, you create a psionic tether between yourself and one other willing creature, which lasts for an amount of hours equal to your Proficiency Bonus. While the tethered creature is within 120 feet, whenever one of you takes damage, you may choose for the other to take the damage instead. Additionally, whenever a condition or effect would be imposed upon one of the tethered creatures, the other may expend their reaction, to instead take that condition or effect upon themselves.
🌙 Aspect of the Nightmare
You are a weapon, cold and efficient. There is no morality in survival.
While embodying this Aspect, your mastery over Psionic's intensifies, into a more material form: instead of conjuring psychic blades, you may choose a weapon in your possession, and turn it into a psychic replica of itself as an action, bonding with it. You may only bond with one weapon at a time, and the bond ends at the start of each day.
While bonded with this weapon, it becomes a conduit for your Psionic's, counting as a Psychic Blade for all of your corresponding class features and abilities, while still retaining its base properties. When you make an attack with this weapon, you may choose for it to deal force damage, instead of psychic, attacking a creatures direct soul, rather than its dreams, and whenever you score a critical hit with this weapon, you may force the creature to make an Intelligence Saving Throw against your Soul Knife DC. On a failure, you regain an amount of Psionic Energy die equal to the result of a 1d4 roll. On a success, you regain 1 Psionic Energy die.
At the start of each of your turns while wielding this weapon, you may enhance the Psionic power within yourself, spending an amount of Psionic Energy die, up to a maximum equal to your Constitution modifier: you may make an additional amount of attacks on your turn equal to the amount of die expended in this way.
Each time one of these extra attacks land, and does not benefit from your Sneak Attack feature, you may expend an extra Psionic die to deal an extra amount of psychic or force damage equal to half your number of sneak attack die. This ability cannot function on creatures who are incapable of dreaming or sentient thought.
