Draconic Vigilant Image

You are a chosen soulbound by ancient dragons and forged in the silence of shadows. Your vigilance serves the balance between realms, and your breath—both literal and spiritual—can reveal what lies hidden in body or soul.

Benefits:

1. Breath of the Seeker (Recharge 5–6):
As an action, you may exhale a faintly glowing draconic breath infused with divine essence. Choose one creature within 30 feet and make a Wisdom (Insight) check contested by the target’s Charisma (Deception). On a success, you glimpse spiritual interference, including:

  • Lingering tethers to another plane

  • Signs of undeath, resurrection, or soul fractures

  • Divine markings, pacts, or hidden spiritual influences

DC 16 Insight vs Deception
On success, gain one spiritual tag (e.g., "Soul-Tethered", "Marked by [Entity]", "Fractured Essence"). Tags persist for 24 hours and may be roleplayed or used by DM for plot tracking.

You can use this feature once per short rest.

2. Dragon’s Memory:
Your years of solitary training and pilgrimage rituals allow you to commit powerful details to memory. You can memorize any written material (scroll, spell, letter, etc.) perfectly by spending 1 minute reading it. You retain this information for 7 days or until you use this feature again.

Requires DC 14 Intelligence (Arcana or Religion) check to recall and replicate the info without access to the original source (e.g., under duress).

3. Dual-Discipline Crafting:
You may craft basic alchemical potions (healing, antitoxin, smoke bombs) at half the normal cost, and in half the normal time as long as you have access to tools. You gain proficiency in Alchemist’s Supplies if you don’t already have it.

4. Spirit Sense:
Once per long rest, as a bonus action, you can attune to the spiritual weave for 1 minute. During this time, you gain advantage on Wisdom (Perception) and Intelligence (Religion) checks to detect:

  • Celestial, fiendish, undead, or divine entities

  • Consecrated or desecrated ground

  • Soul-based conditions (e.g., soul exhaustion, divine interference)

Flavor Notes:

This feat makes Samagee an ideal divine investigator, field alchemist, and spirit tracker—perfect for his current arc of observing and intervening in divine imbalances like Zander's. It honors his human adaptability, monk training, and dragon lineage without granting raw combat power, keeping things utility-based and narrative-rich.
