Feat: Ashen Echo
Prerequisite: Tiefling, Echo Knight subclass, tribal warrior heritage
Your echo is more than a reflection—it's a spiritual avatar of your ancestors, forged in the final fires of your fallen tribe. Their techniques live on through you, flaring to life in battle with ghostly fury.
Increase your Dexterity or Constitution by 1, to a maximum of 20.
When you summon your echo, it briefly manifests with glowing tribal markings (ashen red or burning gold) and lets out a faint war cry only you can hear.
Once per turn, when your echo hits with an attack, you may deal an additional 1d6 force damage. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus per long rest.
When you are reduced to 0 HP, your echo may remain active for 1 additional round, allowing you to use it to block or attack (but not switch places) even while unconscious. It vanishes at the end of your next turn.
You gain proficiency in Survival and Intimidation. If already proficient, you gain expertise in that skill instead.
