Heroic Intervention

The Paladin can use their reaction when an ally is attacked by any non-magical means. When the Paladin wishes to use this skill, they will roll a d20 + proficiency bonus in an attempt to block the attack with their shield. If the d20 is higher than the attacker's attack roll, the Paladin will negate 50% damage. If failed, the Paladin will take the full damage instead of the original target. The Paladin must be using a shield and be proficient with shields.
