You’ve survived things you absolutely shouldn't have—mostly by being forgettable, ducking at the right time, or just not standing close to the important people when trouble started. While others got glory, you got out alive. That has to count for something.

You gain the following benefits:

  • Increase your Dexterity or Constitution by 1, to a maximum of 20.

  • Fade Into the Crowd. When you take the Hide action in a populated area (such as a tavern, battle camp, or busy street), you can attempt to do so even when only lightly obscured. You have advantage on Stealth checks made to avoid being noticed by creatures of higher social status or rank (such as captains, nobles, villains, or heroes).

  • Last One Standing. When you are reduced to 0 hit points but not killed outright, you can instead drop to 1 hit point and immediately fall prone, clutching a wound, hiding behind debris, or simply playing dead. You cannot use this feature again until you finish a long rest. Alternatively, you may use it again by expending a Hit Die after combat ends and making a DC 10 Constitution saving throw (success restores the feature).
