King's Embrace Image

Prerequisite: Wisdom or Charisma 13 or higher

You have crowned yourself in your own mind, and the world cannot shake your claim. Through pride, resolve, or divine right, you embrace the strength of a King. You gain the following benefits:

Royal Bearing. You gain proficiency in Persuasion or Intimidation (your choice). If you already have proficiency in the chosen skill, you instead add double your proficiency bonus to checks with it.

King’s Command. When you hit a creature with a weapon attack or spell, you can choose to declare your dominance. The target must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw (DC = 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Charisma or Wisdom modifier) or have disadvantage on attack rolls against creatures other than you until the end of its next turn.

The Crown Within. Once per long rest, as a bonus action, you may enter the King’s Embrace for 1 minute. While in this state:

You have advantage on saving throws against being charmed or frightened.

You gain temporary hit points equal to your proficiency bonus at the start of each of your turns.

If you are reduced to 0 hit points while in this state, you can choose to drop to 1 hit point instead. This ends the King’s Embrace immediately.
