“Perfection is an illusion. I am the exception that proves the error.”
Your brilliance has transcended reality… at least, in your mind. Your constant blundering is now a kind of supernatural force—so erratic and inexplicable that it occasionally defies logic entirely.
Catastrophic Genius:
When you roll a natural 1 on any Intelligence-, Wisdom-, or Charisma-based ability check, you can choose to automatically succeed as if you rolled a 20 instead. This still triggers a delusion surge.
Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a long rest.
After using it, something minorly breaks, sparks, or falls off your body.
Spell Misidentification Protocol:
When you cast prestidigitation, mending, or any cantrip you know, you may disguise it as any other spell of the same level to onlookers. This doesn’t change the effect—it just causes others to misidentify what you’re doing. This can confuse enemies, impress commoners, or deeply annoy wizards.
Confidence Feedback Loop:
When you succeed on an Intelligence, Wisdom, or Charisma check using the Comedic Genius feature, your confidence soars. Until the end of your next turn, you gain:
+1 to AC
+1 on saving throws
+10 feet of movement
