This masterfully crafted rune socket connects your Ice Armor—whether light, medium, or heavy—to the essence of ancient magic. At its core rests a smooth bone disc, inscribed with a rune of your choice. This disc pulses with mystical energy, ready to unleash its power—whether as an unyielding shield, an empowering battle aura, or a rune that amplifies your strikes with icy force.
Should the battle demand a different force, you can replace the bone disc in a ritual-like process lasting 10 minutes. In doing so, your armor adapts not only to defense but becomes a source of power, shifting with the flow of combat and strategy.
High-quality Rune Armors can carry up to four sockets, allowing their wearers to activate multiple runes simultaneously and further expand their abilities.
This rune socket increases the armor class by 2 and grants a +1 bonus to all saving throws.
You can choose three spells from the following lists and use it up to twice per short rest.
