Blood of the Dragons

This feat may only be taken at character creation.

You have a very near ancestor who was a dragon, likely a grandparent. While you don't exhibit the same Draconic heritage that a Dragonborn does, this connection has manifested in distinct ways. You may have an oddly colored skin or small scales on your body, dragon-like eyes, or other benign yet interesting characteristics, but to fully present as descended from dragons you will have to expend effort and training. For now, your birth has given you some measure of power.

You have wings you were born with. At 1st level, they grant your proficiency bonus to any Athletics or Acrobatics check specifically to jump, even if you are not proficient in those skills. You may also glide at your walking speed. If you fall, even if unconscious, your wings will slow your descent, capping fall damage at 2d6 regardless of the distance fallen.

At 6th level, your wings have grown strong enough to allow you to fly, with your fly speed equal to your walking speed. Flying for more than a number of hours equal to your Constitution modifier (minimum 1) however will cause 1 level of exhaustion per hour spent flying. You cannot fly while over-encumbered.

At 11th level, your fly speed increases to twice your walking speed or 60 feet, whichever is lower.

At 16th level, you can fly without being exhausted.

Grants access to higher level Dragonblooded feats.
