Gaze Into Oblivion Image

When you gaze long enough into the abyss—the abyss will gaze back into you. There is an oblivion beyond mortal perception. It has been there since before the creation of the multiverse, and even the gods fear it. Sometimes, under exceptional circumstances, the thin veil between the world and this oblivion tears. Many cannot resist taking a peek—few recover from being confronted with the utter nothingness beyond, usually those with flexible and inquisitive minds. Those who do often come away… changed.

Empty Eyes. Your eyes are as blank as the oblivion itself. It is impossible to determine if you are lying or telling the truth, not even by magic.

Truth Seeker. You have a penchant for uncovering secrets. Once per long rest, you can cast zone of truth at will. Your spellcasting ability for this spell is Charisma or Wisdom, which you choose when you acquire this Dark Gift. In addition, you gain proficiency in the Insight skill and double your proficiency bonus for it.

The Oblivion Gazes Back. Immediately after you make an attack roll, an ability check, or a saving throw and roll a 1 on the d20, you are stunned until the end of your next turn. Your thoughts are no longer your own, but you do not recall blacking out.
