The Veniate Image
Prerequisite: Monk only

The Veniate is a state of mind that only highly trained monks are capable of entering. To achieve Veniate, or Nothingness, requires years of dedication. You must let go of all mortal desires, and give up everything that ties you to this world.

To enter the Veniate, you must make a Wisdom saving throw, DC 18, as an action. You can gain advantage on this saving throw if you spend a minute in meditation to center yourself. This ability requires concentration, and follows the same rules as concentrating on a spell. You can maintain concentration on this ability for up to one hour. While in this state, you feel no pain or emotion allowing your mind to focus completely on any task you lay before it. You gain advantage on all skill checks and saving throws, except to maintain concentration on this ability.

Additionally, if you are reduced to zero hit points while in this state, you can continue to fight past your limits. At the beginning of each turn that you start with zero hit points, make a concentration check, DC 18, or immediately fall unconscious and begin making death saving throws. Otherwise you make act normally. If you take cumulative damage equal to your maximum hit points, you immediately die with no death saving throws. No matter what, when you leave the Veniate after being reduced to zero hit points you fall unconscious for 1d4 hours, even if you have been healed.

Finally, when you make a concentration check to maintain this ability, you can spend one Ki point to automatically pass. You can do so after you know the results of your roll.
