Your mastery as a rider becomes apparent, giving you proficiency in animal handling. You have advantage on saving throws made to avoid falling off your mount. You may also weild two handed weapons while mounted, however if you do you will lose advantage on saving throws made to avoid falling off your mount. If you fall off your mount and descend no more than 10 feet, you can land on your feet if you’re not incapacitated.

You can also spend one of four points to give yourself advantage on an attack so long as you are on your mount.

If you are mounted and a creature within 5 feet of you is attacked, including your mount, you can spend one of these points to help negate the attack. Roll a d8 and add the result to the creature AC, if the attack still hits the creature, it gains resistance to that type of damage for the attack. You regain any used points after a long rest.

Finally, mounting or dismounting a creature costs you only 5 feet of movement, rather than half your speed.
