You can copy any spell or ability you've seen in the last 8 hours without paying the material costs, but must provide all other requirements. You can only have one spell copied at a time, and can copy spells not in your spell book.
(For example, you could copy Vicous Mockery for seven hours, choose fireball instead, and can no longer cast Vicous Mockery using this ability until you see it again, in which it would replace fireball)
