Tongue of the deep

You have been afflicted by the bizarre Cymothoa exigua, but instead of merely losing your tongue, its presence has awakened latent psionic abilities within you. You gain the following benefits:

 * Aberrant Insight: You can telepathically speak to any creature you can see within 10 feet of you. You don't need to share a language with the creature for it to understand your telepathic utterances, but it must be able to understand at least one language. This telepathy is one-way (you can transmit thoughts, but not receive them telepathically).

 * Psionic Screech: As a bonus action, you can unleash a focused psionic shriek. Each creature within a 10-foot radius of you must make a Constitution saving throw. The DC for this saving throw equals 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Intelligence modifier. On a failed save, a creature takes 1d4 psychic damage and cannot make opportunity attacks until the end of its next turn. On a successful save, the creature takes half as much damage and suffers no other effects.

 * Symbiotic Aversion: Your symbiotic tongue has developed a perverse form of sentience and an uncanny aversion to its own kind. You have disadvantage on saving throws against effects that would force you to consume or be exposed to shellfish, and you are always aware of the presence of shellfish within 30 feet of you. Forcing you to eat shellfish counts as an act of torture.
