4th-level Feat (Prerequisite: Spellcasting or Pact Magic)
You are particularly potent at causing mayhem with your spellcasting, granting you the following benefits.
- Area of Effect. When you cast a spell that deals damage to creatures or objects in an area, you can cause the area to become difficult terrain until cleared. Each 5-foot-square section of the area requires 1 minute to clear by hand. Once you use this ability, you can’t do so again until you finish a long rest.
- Object Damage. Whenever you cast a spell that normally only deals damage to creatures, you can also treat objects within range as valid targets for the spell. Such an object doesn’t suffer any of the other effects of the spell, unless the spell states otherwise.
- Spell Attacks. Once on each of your turns when you hit a target with a ranged spell attack, you can push the target up to 5 feet directly away from you.
