You possess an Integrated Weapon system—an internal mechanism built through fire, craftsmanship, and magic.
Integration System
On the back of each of your upper arms you have an internal Integration System: mechanical and magical components running the length of the upper arm.
Only your dedicated Integrated Weapon may be mounted to the Integration System.
When mounted, the Integration System fully encloses and locks the Integrated Weapon into your arm structure, potentially extending beyond shoulder or elbow depending on the weapon's size.
Integrated Weapon
A unique part of your body that can be shaped into a weapon and detached.
While attached:
- The Integrated Weapon is treated as part of your body.
- The Integrated Weapon can be reshaped.
- It cannot be disarmed or removed unless you choose to detach it (Bonus Action).
While Detached:
- Can be wielded and enchanted like any normal weapon.
- Any creature other than yourself attacks at Disadvantage.
- If used against you or an ally, the wielder must succeed on a DC 15 Wisdom saving throw (DC 20 if targeting you) or drop the weapon.
- Can be Attached back into the Integration System (Bonus Action)
Reconstruction Protocol
Once per Long Rest, while Attached, spend 2 hours to transform the Integrated Weapon's shape into a different melee weapon with which you are proficient.
Magical properties and enchantments transfer seamlessly.
Reconstruction cannot be interrupted once started, and the Integrated Weapon cannot be used during reconstruction.
