Prerequisite: Requires Draconic Bloodline Sorcerer
Spells you cast of the type associated with your draconic ancestry are violent and wild.
You gain the following benefits:
- Increase your Charisma score by 1 to a maximum of 20
- When you cast a spell that deals damage of your affinity type you may reroll any 1's rolled on the damage dice.
- In addition, when you cast a spell of your affinity type your eyes flash with the element and then glow. You can choose to surround yourself with a ward of the spell's element. When you are surrounded by the ward any creature within 5ft of you that hit's you with a melee attack takes 1d4 damage of spell's element type. These effects last until the start of your next turn.
The ward for each element appear as follows:
- Acid - An acidic cloud lingers in the air around you
- Cold - Shards of ice whirl around you at dangerous speeds
- Fire - Flames dance and weave around you. The flames shed bright light out to 30ft and dim light another 30ft
- Lightning - Bolts of lightning arc from your body to the ground
