You’ve learned how to exert your will on your spells to alter how they function:

• You learn the Transmuted Spell Metamagic option from the sorcerer class. When you spend 1 sorcery point on a Metamagic option during your turn, you can change the spell's damage type to deal either Lightning, Fire, or Thunder damage without spending an extra sorcery point.
• When you cast a cantrip you may choose to use this metamagic for free.
• You gain sorcery points equal to your proficiency bonus to spend on Metamagic (these points are added to any sorcery points you have from another source but can be used only on Metamagic). You regain all spent sorcery points when you finish a long rest.
