Choose one creature with whom you have a deep military bond (typically another PC). This bond must be mutual and confirmed through a ritual or shared event (at DM's discretion). The bond becomes magically tethered to your soul.

• While the bond is active, you always know if your bonded ally is alive or dead.

• If they are on a different plane, you know whether they are on the same plane, a different one, or otherwise obscured.

🧭 Echo Pulse (1/Long Rest).
As an action, you can focus your will and memories into a brief psychic pulse across the planes. Your bonded ally feels this pulse faintly — like a whisper of your voice or a memory returning to them in dreams.

• Roll a d20 + Wisdom modifier + proficiency bonus against a DC 15.

  • Success: You receive a fuzzy vision or location-based clue about their surroundings (the smell of sulfur, the sound of chains, glimpses of a prison sigil, etc).

  • Failure: You gain no insight, and both you and your ally suffer 1 level of exhaustion as the mental strain attempts to bridge the gap.

If two PCs take this feat together, the bond becomes stronger:

• Echo Pulse can be used twice per long rest.

• Once per day, they can send a Sending-style telepathic message (25 words) to one another, even across planes, no spell slot required.
