Esoteric Studies

You specialize in the study of an unusual or ancient magical tradition, granting you special insights.

• Ability Score Increase. Increase your Intelligence, Wisdom, or Charisma score by 1, to a maximum of 20.
• Knowledge Skill. You gain proficiency in the Arcana, Investigation, Medicine, Nature, Religion, or Survival skill.
• Lost Language. You gain proficiency in one language of your choice that is associated with magic.
• Esoteric Spell. You add one spell from any class to your list of spells known and always have it prepared. You must spend a spell slot of the appropriate level in order to cast it. Work with the DM to modify its appearance to be thematically appropriate to your magic.
