Prerequisite: Must have proficiency in martial weapons to take this feat.
Through intense training you've learned how to wield even the mightiest of weapons in one hand. Though the weight may make it a bit hard to swing there's no doubt that having a spare hand will come in handy.
All two-handed weapons gain the Versatile trait. When you wield a two-handed weapon in one hand this way they gain a -3 to hit penalty on attack rolls. The weapon's damage is unaffected by this feat.
Versatile - You can switch between using this weapon in one or two hands.

Posted Aug 20, 2025This is super cool, but I wish it said that they gained the "light" property instead, so I could run around with two great axes idk just a thought

Posted Jul 3, 2026Sounds pretty good, but hard to see it get any use out of shield lovers, and they would rather start with a long sword and a shield and instead take the shield master feat or another defensive feat. Hard to see a build where this would be helpful

Posted Sep 3, 2026Pretty cool, I like how you get a downside for using two handed weapon with one-handed. I do wonder what the damage for welding the weapon with two hands would be compared to one. would you just not take the penalty?
