You have sworn yourself to Vanos, god of wind and storms. In return, he grants you the faintest whisper of his protective fury.
Once per long rest, you can invoke the Judgment of the Gale:
As a special action, you call upon Vanos’s storm winds to shield an ally you can see within 30 feet. For the next 10 minutes, that ally gains the following benefits:
-
A +2 bonus to AC and saving throws.
-
When that ally takes damage from a melee attack, you can use your reaction to unleash a blast of howling wind and crackling electricity from your voice. The attacker must succeed on a Constitution saving throw (DC = 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Wisdom or Dexterity modifier) or be pushed 10 feet away from the ally and be deafened until the end of their next turn.
Visual Flare:
When you invoke the Judgment of the Gale, a shimmering vortex of wind and pale blue lightning surrounds your chosen ally, and your voice echoes with the distant rumble of thunder. The storm’s protection visibly crackles and howls around them as you shield them from harm.
