Enhanced Mark of Descent: The Thornwarden

Granted to Cade within the END Tower of The Never Ending Dungeon.

The Thornwarden:
You stepped between the blade and the bloom. The Blooming Verge remembers such defiance — and wraps you in thorns of its own.

Effect:

• When a creature within 10 feet of you is targeted by an attack, you may use your reaction to interpose yourself. You become the target of the attack instead.

If this attack hits you, you gain temporary hit points equal to your proficiency bonus at the start of your next turn.

Once this ability is used, it can’t be used again until you finish a short or long rest.
