Your mastery of magic has transferred to your undead, granting them further power. When you cast animate dead, you can elect one skeleton you create or regain control over to become a spellcaster. Their Intelligence becomes 17, they gain proficiency in Intelligence and Wisdom saving throws, and can now cast shocking grasp, fire bolt, and ray of frost as if they were a 5th level wizard.
Additionally, as part of the bonus action used to command your undead, you can consume a spell slot of 2nd level or higher to have this skeleton cast chromatic orb. This chromatic orb can deal cold or necrotic damage, and deals an additional 3 damage for each spell slot level above 2nd.
