Eternal Hunt – Summoner’s Dominion
Feat / Class Feature Upgrade
---
Core Feature: Soul Harvest
When you slay a creature, you may attempt to claim its soul through the Eternal Hunt (does not consume a spell slot).
Requirements:
The creature was slain by you.
The creature has not previously been targeted by Eternal Hunt.
No more than 30 seconds (5 rounds) have passed since its death.
Process:
Roll 1d100 → gain that many Soul Points for that creature.
Critical Hit kill or Necrotic damage kill: +20 Soul Points bonus.
If you accumulate 100+ Soul Points for a creature type → you can summon its spiritual form in an unoccupied space for 1 hour or until dismissed.
The summoned spirit is considered Celestial, Fey, or Fiend (your choice) instead of its original type. It rolls its own initiative and acts independently (DM controls), but generally follows your commands.
If a summoned creature is reduced to 0 HP → roll 1d20 and lose that many Soul Points for that creature type.
---
New Mechanic: Soul Shards
Every time you gain Soul Points, also gain Soul Shards = half the Soul Points (rounded down).
Soul Shard Usage:
Spend 1 Soul Shard → summon a temporary spirit of any unlocked creature (half HP) for 1 minute.
Multiple summons possible if you have enough Soul Shards.
---
Additional Abilities
1. Summoner’s Arsenal (Always Active)
You can control multiple spirits at once.
Summoning with Soul Shards does not count toward your permanent summon limit.
2. Soul Resonance (Passive Buff)
Gain +1 AC and +1 attack/damage rolls per spirit you control (max +3).
3. Mass Conjuration (Unlock at Level 11)
If you have 3+ unlocked spirits, you may spend 1 Soul Shard + Action to summon all of them simultaneously (1 hour duration).
4. Fusion Ascendant (Upgrade of Level 9 Fusion)
When fusing with a spirit (300+ Soul Points required), you may also summon up to 2 additional lesser spirits during the fusion.
Damage taken is split evenly between you and the summoned spirits (DM discretion).
