Upon failing a roll that involves Intelligence (such as an Intelligence saving throw, or a check that uses your Intelligence modifier such as arcana checks), you gain +1 to your Intelligence stat (which can bring your Intelligence stat up to 30). This Intelligence buff goes away after succeeding an Intelligence based roll, after taking a Short Rest or after taking a Long Rest.
