Prerequisite: Spellcasting ability and a cold-themed spell known

You have succumbed to the demon’s influence — and your soul runs colder for it.

• Increase your Intelligence, Wisdom, or Charisma score by 1, to a maximum of 20.

• You ignore resistance to cold damage when you deal cold damage with a spell or ability.

• When you roll damage for a spell you cast that deals cold damage, you can treat any roll of 1 on a damage die as a 2.

• When you score a critical hit that deals cold damage to a creature, or they roll a critical fail on a saving throw, jagged ice erupts around the target:

  • The creature’s movement speed becomes 0 until the start of your next turn.

  • If the creature is flying, it falls to the ground, taking the relevant fall damage before being frozen in place.
