Your draconic ancestry causes you to have temptations to hoard gold and other valuables. When you encounter large amounts of valuable items, specifically precious metals and gemstones, you must make a WIS Save (DC listed below). On a success: You resist the temptation. Reduce your Greed level by 1 to a minimum of 1. On a fail: Give in to your temptations and take the gold for yourself. Increase your Greed level by 1 to a maximum of 5.
You can choose to resist a failure by taking one level of exhaustion instead. If you roll a 20 or a 1, double the Greed level increase/decrease.
Greed: You Greed level determines the symptoms of your condition.
Level 1: WIS Save DC10, no noticeable symptoms.
Level 2: WIS Save DC10, you are willing to steal from creatures who have wronged you to increase the size of your hoard.
Level 3: WIS Save DC15, you are willing to steal from all non-trusted creatures to increase the size of your hoard. Your skin colour is tinged with the colour of your corresponding draconic ancestry.
Level 4: WIS Save DC15, you start piling valuable items in a place you deem safe and are willing to steal from trusted creatures to increase your hoard. Your skin colour is vaguely scaly and the colour of your corresponding draconic ancestry.
Level 5: WIS Save DC20, you refuse to speak any language but Draconic and your skin is clearly scaly and purely the colour of your corresponding draconic ancestry. You do not leave your hoard without the express intent of adding to it. You can reduce your Greed to level 4 by taking 2 levels of exhaustion.
