Blessing of Jorrmundur, Spirit of Despair

Jorrmundur, the great ancestor spirit, has decided to grant you their blessing for your efforts to restore him. Though they are unable to appear physically with you in most scenarios, Jorrmundur's ethereal avatar may accompany you, should you so desire. Either way, Jorrmundur's blessing can be invoked once a day, conferring you their benefits.

Once a day, the recipient of Jorrmundur's blessing can benefit from the effects of rage. The rage damage bonus is scaled to the recipient's level, and the benefits can still be conferred when wearing heavy armor. Spells can also be cast during this rage, but concentration cannot be held. Additionally, at the beginning of each day, the recipient may choose one paladin smite spell to have prepared for that day. They may use it up to 3 times a day, and normal smite rules apply.

When a creature receives the Blessing of Jorrmundur, their strength score is increased by 2, to a maximum of 30.

Activating the blessing of an ancestor spirit requires a bonus action. The ability is not affected by spells like Antimagic Field, Counterspell, or Dispel Magic, and is not counted as magical for spells such as Detect Magic.
